Second show underway

The playlist has been selected, and I’m giving all of the tracks a good listening before I record the second Astroquarian show. This time, expect more offbeat and genre-bending tracks including some folk rock, some space rock and more blipcore, with some witterings from my good self in between.

ETA Sunday evening, GMT…

Show Notes

01: Climb Climb, Termite, On the Summit You Will Find the Jackpot - Rix Glassmeyer
02: Barbary Partridge - akustikfilm
03: Mello Vibro - Opsvik and Jennings
04: Living Life Dreaming Dreams II - A Single Voice
05: Olen Rock - Henrik Anttonen
06: 03 06 - Mario Wald
07: Elephant Island - Pilotdrift

Errata

First off - when I announce Rix Glassmeyer’s name some gremlin glitches the sound. I also erroneously say “astroquarian.net” at some point - wrong! It’s astroquarian.com. I also say “enjoy” too many times, in retrospect. Nobody’s perfect…

First show in chaotic progress

The first astroquarian show is finally underway. The playlist is already beginning to look interesting.

This is my first foray into producing a music podcast, and already the process has been very educational. Firstly, the breadth of amazing music out there. A browse through the podsafe music network website is testament to that. Of course I’ve found some awful tracks out there, but I’m quite enjoying finding them too in an odd kind of way. I like to think that I have an interesting sense of humour.

The first show is turning out to have an electro feel to it. You will find yourself rested from some of it, rudely awoken by a couple of tracks, and possibly scared by another. We’ll see how this pans out…

[EDIT: It's not all electro - there's some perverse but epic ROCK! - caps and exclamation mark intended - moments slipped in there for your delectation..]

Astroquarian: strange music with a spacey twist

Well, the blog is set up, the feed has been burned (http://feeds.feedburner.com/astroquarian), and I’m all set up on the podsafe music network as a podcast producer.

Chocks away!
