Astroquarian

Astroquarian 04 is now being compiled. Astroquarian is an electic mix of podsafe music, tailored to those who like to hear hand-picked tracks of unusual music they’ve probably never heard before, or probably wouldn’t have discovered on their own. Astroquarian plays everything from space rock, experimental electronica, epic musical journeys to genre-bending tunes that are nothing less than strange, yet likeable. We’ll play contrasting tracks back to back, so expect the unexpected.

The playlist has been selected, and I’m giving all of the tracks a good listening before I record the second Astroquarian show. This time, expect more offbeat and genre-bending tracks including some folk rock, some space rock and more blipcore, with some witterings from my good self in between.

The first astroquarian show is finally underway. The playlist is already beginning to look interesting.

This is my first foray into producing a music podcast, and already the process has been very educational. Firstly, the breadth of amazing music out there. A browse through the podsafe music network website is testament to that. Of course I’ve found some awful tracks out there, but I’m quite enjoying finding them too in an odd kind of way. I like to think that I have an interesting sense of humour.

The first show is turning out to have an electro feel to it. You will find yourself rested from some of it, rudely awoken by a couple of tracks, and possibly scared by another. We’ll see how this pans out…
